New chains appeared, ecosystems expanded, and the pace of change continued to accelerate, with Web3 adoption and market size growing rapidly according to industry forecasts.

Alongside new opportunities came more uncertainty, more risk, and more friction for people trying to explore what Web3 had to offer.

ONTO’s response was not to chase everything new.

It was to evolve deliberately into a Web3 discovery wallet designed to make exploration clearer, safer, and more useful.

This work was not driven by arbitrary version numbers or headline features. It was shaped by real questions, real feedback, and a simple challenge we kept returning to:

Can we make this easier and more reliable for people exploring Web3 every day?

Looking back, we don’t just see a list of updates.

We see a product that became more confident, more intentional, and more focused on what actually matters.

Here is how ONTO evolved over the last 12 months.

Building a Web3 Discovery Wallet Through Listening

As Web3 expanded, a few questions kept surfacing clearly and consistently:

  • There are too many chains. How do I keep up?
  • How do I know this transaction is safe?
  • Why does something simple feel so complicated?

Growth brought complexity, and complexity increased the risk of mistakes.

Those concerns became our north star.

Our goal wasn’t to add more.

It was to make discovery clearer, decisions safer, and everyday actions more understandable.

Security That Works in the Background

Security isn’t something you should have to think about constantly, but you should feel it’s there.

Over the past year, we focused on strengthening the foundations that help you explore Web3 with confidence:

  • Clearer approval risk detection, designed to be visible and understandable
  • Batch revoke, turning approval management into a simple, everyday action
  • Improved risk indicators before swaps and lending operations
  • Ledger Bluetooth support, bringing cold-storage security into daily use
  • Clearer non-EVM signing flows, so you know exactly what you’re approving

These changes aren’t flashy.

They’re intentional, designed to reduce uncertainty and help you move forward with confidence.

Making Multi-Chain Feel Manageable

Web3 fully entered its multi-chain era this year. More chains, more assets, more differences, and more chances for confusion.

To keep that complexity from becoming a burden, we reworked the product experience end-to-end:

  • A redesigned home screen that surfaces what matters most
  • Faster swaps and bridges, plus a customizable nonce to resolve stuck transactions
  • Clearer data at a glance, including price charts and transaction summaries
  • Improved yield visibility, with clearer aggregation and APR estimation
  • Expanded chain support, including Berachain, Sonic, Sui, TON, Manta Pacific, Plasma, and HyperEVM

The goal was simple:

You shouldn’t feel the weight of the technology. You should just feel that ONTO works.

A Growing Ecosystem to Explore

We expanded ONTO’s ecosystem not to fill a logo wall, but to unlock real experiences directly inside the wallet.

Over the year, this included:

  • Digital identity integrations, such as Human Passport
  • Cross-chain and CeDeFi access, with partners like OpenOcean, SimpleSwap, Ston.FI, and TonStaker
  • Deeper ecosystem collaboration, including work across XLayer and the TON ecosystem
  • Expanded stablecoin support, including USDR, EURR, USDQ, and EURQ

Each addition was guided by the same question:

Does this make discovery more useful and more understandable?

Community at the Centre

ONTO is built by a team, but it grows through the people who use it.

This year:

  • ONTO users came from 170+ countries
  • We saw 50,000+ monthly active users
  • We hosted 10+ community events, from challenges to educational AMAs

The questions, feedback, and conversations in our communities continue to shape how ONTO evolves. They help us see where clarity is missing and where it matters most.

Explore What’s Next with ONTO

ONTO is built for people who want to explore Web3 with confidence rather than guesswork.

Inside the wallet, you can:

  • Discover new Web3 projects with context, not noise
  • Learn how things work before you commit
  • Access ecosystems early, with clearer signals and safeguards
  • Earn rewards for learning, experimenting, and participating

Whether you’re just starting out or exploring what’s next, ONTO gives you a safer place to move forward.
